Thanks for so much good info on vpc 2004! I was able to get a console up and running, but i have an issue with my killer app.
I'm trying to run Eric Meyer's VDE in the vpc condole. It wouldn't work in either XP's own dosbox, and i'm having the same problem in vpc. None of the help files i've seen address this problem.
The problem is that once in the VDE editor, it acts as if the shift key is stuck on. Using the direction keys moves the cursor, but only to select text.
I've tried the 3rd party app called Dosbox, and it doesn't have this problem there, but other performance/stability issues discouraged me from continuing with that approach.
One possibility is the fact that i'm using a Microsoft Natural *Wireless* keyboard, through a KVR switch. I don't have a similar issue with any other apps, though, so i'm inclined to think that's not it.
Thanks for any help, i'm about at my wit's end. No other WP will do, for me. No WinXP word processor has full-screen and wordstar keybindings.
Any ideas???
